JOB DESCRIPTION

Current Opportunities:

Our full-service equipment repair shop seeks mechanics/technicians & welders in Hilo, Kawaihae and Maui.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ASE certificates or completed apprenticeship program or equivalent experience

• CDL - Doubles, Triples, and Tankers

Job Summary:

• Drawing on extensive technical training and experience, directs and works on modification to new and existing equipment to insure continuity of operations

• Preventative maintenance, repairs, inspection, testing, & adjustments on equipment.

• Performs tasks of above average difficulty associated with the trade

• Able to completely overhaul all types of motorized equipment powered by an internal combustion engine

• Diagnoses failures and recommends corrective action to prevent recurrences.

• Types of equipment to be maintained include, but are not limited to: Hydraulic pumps, engines, transmissions, clutches, frames, brakes, power take-offs, hydraulic jacks, mobile equipment and other components, or attachments, etc.

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

• Potential Overtime on Weekdays and Weekends

Compensation:

• Pay rate dependent on ASE/Certifications and experience. Ranges from $17.50 - $35.00/hour + Overtime.
